Juggling balls?
My sister wants juggling balls for her bday but she says they have to be 'proper' ones. What qualities do i need to look for?

- small hand sized leather balls filled with beans you can get them from any good toy shop like toys r us with an instruction book included . if she gets good can i have some lessons lol
- You can buy sets of 3. They are soft, usually blue, red and yellow. You can get them from toy shops and are specifically made for juggling.
- Adult hand sized, leather feel, filled with 'bean' material (so they dont roll off when you drop em), weight about 8 ounces, and come in a pack of 3!! Got my own balls a few years ago and have the ability to juggle different objects now. Takes concentration, but is good fun for one.... until you get better. But they are the proper ones of which you speak!
- Try http://www.jugglingstore.com/?gclid=CLiug_u_j48CFQ-fHgodpgfKTQ My husband gets most of his juggling stuff here. But I make his "bean bags". I sell them too. Feel free to e-mail me if ya want. But the basic bean bags (a misnomer because most are filled with birdseed or plastic pellets) are about 2-4 ounces and cost around $5-8 each. Here's a direct link to Juggling stores beanbags http://www.jugglingstore.com/products/beanbags.html There's also the WJF who promote the sport side of juggling. Here's their bean bags http://www.thewjf.com/store/balls.php
- I would ask her what she means by "proper" balls. I don't like the bean bags, for example, because they eventually become misshapen. But there's also lacross-style balls, stage balls, silicone balls, square balls, etc. It's best to find out what she wants so she isn't disappointed. I get all my juggling equipment from Dubé and I'm always happy with my purchases. http://www.dube.com If she's very young and has never juggled, consider buying a copy of Juggling for the Complete Klutz. It's how I learned.
- Make sure the balls are all the same weight and size. A lot of cheaper ones you can get are not. A good set are normally heavier than cheap ones and will usually come boxed with instructions.
